Oceania album cover c 1999 Point Music/ Universal Music Company Ltd

" The music of Oceania is inspired by my daughter, Hineraukatauri, born with cerebal palsy nearly 5 years ago. It is a celebration of her vitality and tenacity for life. She has given us a new perspective on our lives, and inspires passion and courage in all we do, including the struggle for the retention of te reo and tikanga Maori . She is our joy. Our Blessing. We are certain you will be moved by the spirit of Hineraukatauri, named for the Goddess of Music, through the sounds of Oceania. "
